First, the adjustment steps:

1. Check whether the crimping mold is clean and worn. Clean and replace worn molds if necessary.

2. Disconnect the power supply of the crimping machine and remove the protective device.

3. Load into the corresponding mold.

4. Load the terminal into the die so that the first terminal is above the anvil.

5. Manual cycle crimping machine to complete a complete cycle to ensure smooth crimping process. If it is not smooth, remove the mold and check the closing height. Go to Step 3.

6. Check whether the mold is aligned. Check the indentation from the anvil iron at the base of the terminal. Check whether the extrusion is symmetrical and the compression joint is centered. If the asymmetry is not centered, align the tools and then go to Step 5.

7. Check whether the terminal feeding device is feeding the next terminal directly above the anvil. If not, adjust the terminal feeding device and feeding head and go to Step 5.

8. Reinstall all previously removed protective devices. (Comply with all safety requirements listed in the Operating Procedures for crimping machines and/or crimping tools)

9. Electric crimping terminal sample.

10. Evaluate the length of the cut end and the flare of the core wire press frame. If necessary, disconnect the crimping machine and remove the protective device. Adjust the track position. Manually cycle the crimp machine and check the feeding position of the feeding finger, go to Step 7.

11. Evaluate the conductor brush. If adjustment is required, disconnect the crimping machine and remove the protective device. Adjust the crimping position of the wire stop or automatic wire processing equipment on the crimping work table. Go to Step 8.

12. Check the position of the insulation cover. Adjust the peel length if necessary, crimp the new sample, and then go to step 11.

13. Adjust the height of the insulation sheath crimping so that the insulation sheath does not touch the wire core.

14. Crimp terminal sample.

15. Measure wire crimp height (if applicable) and compare with specifications. Cut off power and remove protection if necessary. Adjust the crimp height of the core wire, reinstall the guard, connect the power supply, and then go to Step 14.

16. Perform a tensile test. If the test fails, see Troubleshooting method.

17. Adjust the crimping of the insulation sheath.

18. Crimp terminal sample.

19. Evaluate insulation crimping. Cut off power and remove protection if necessary. Adjust the insulation sheath crimping height, reinstall the guard, connect the power supply, and then go to Step 18.

20. Measure the crimp height and compare it with the specification. Cut off power and remove protection if necessary. Adjust the crimping height of the core wire, reinstall the protective device, connect the power supply, and then go to Step 18.

21. Record the measurement results.
